I run Windows XP Pack 3 and I have been enjoying my SpeedTester for some time now. However, when I access my SpeedTester
now I get the following warning: Unable to connect to SpeedTester server. Please try later.

I have un-installed and re-installed my SpeedTester but to no avail. Can anybody help? Many thanks. Evros

I'm getting the same message at least 2 days out of every week. Whats going on, is the server down for maintainance or is it something more?

The servers are rarely taken down for maintanence.

We are not sure what causes this problem as it seems to be entirely at random. Once we can replicate this in a controlled environment, we'll be able to offer a solution.

I too have had this response now for 4 days. I tried uninstall and re-install to no avail. I hadn't applied SP3 so that wasn't the culprit - in fact nothing had changed. I have ensured that SpeedTester is in my trusted applications in Kaspersky.
I hope this can be sorted out soon...

Thanks for your replies. At least I now know that I am not the only one with this problem. I have also contacted
Broadband Choices Support team directly. Usually they are very good in putting things right. If I get a possitive
answer I will share it with you. Thanks again, and I hope we get a satisfactory solution soon. I did miss my SpeedTester. Evros

Unfortunately, most questions relating to either of our tools are answered by me so you’ll just end up with the same reply.

I have the same problem. no speed test for 4 days now. Is this situation likely to continue for much longer?

Ref. Speedtester faults, this morning I had an email from Broadband Choices, Customers Services, and they advised that we should un-install and re-install the Speedtester, something that I have done already before I contacted Broadband Choices directly. The good news, however, this morning on the 19/07/08 when I switched my computer on, and without doing anything else, my Speedtester worked OK and it has been working normally ever since. I can only hope that you are having the same good luck as me. Evros

Yep. Guess what? My Speedtester, after many days of working OK, today it decided to revert to its irritating
message: "Unable to connect to Speedtester Server. Please try later". It is nothing that we can do. I only hope it
will correct itself in due course. Please Broadband Choices try to trace this random problem and get it rectified as soon as possible. Evros

We had a small glitch this morning with the speed tester server which has been rectified.

We apologise for the inconvenience.
