What a difference a day makes...

Currency exchange rates change daily and are further complicated by added commission, delivery and handling charges. Trying to work out the best deal can be overwhelming!

However, the bureau de change you choose can make a big difference to your holiday budget.

What are your experiences of currency exchange?

Have you found a particularly bargainous deal and been able to splurge on those exotic treats?

Or have you exchanged cash in the airport at the last minute and been shocked by the ridiculously poor exchange rates and high commission?

Let's share the knowledge...

There's a pounds to dollars currency cashpoint in my local M&S. I exchanged my money there last time i went to New York. Don't know if it's the most economical way, but it's by far the most convenient. I'm into convenience.

It's not just currency, it's Marks and Spencers currency.

I found Travelex http://www.travelex.co.uk to be quite convenieent with an option to buy foreign currency online and pick it up at the airport. They ahve mnay locations and almost on many airports so it helps. I thik the currency exchange rate is quite competitive. Thoughts?
