I'm trying in vain to download ther speed tester tool (after taking the online test). At the page http://www.broadbandchoices.co.uk/partner-100123/speed-tester.html#download
I have duly registered and then logged in. But what now? How do I proceed? It appears I am just returned full circle, where I am asked to register again!

You just need to be logged in to download the file. If you aren't and clicked on the download link, you get redirected to the login page. The download starts after you successfully login.
