I am now close to being at the end of my tether, I am close to screaming. I am with Pipex & well the service has never been up to much from the very start. To give you an idea, I am on up to 8mg Broadband, I have never had any more than 4mg at any time. Every time I make or receive a phone call I get kicked off the net & as we all know being on broadband, this should never happen.
I have told Pipex of this from the very start, they have put this problem to there engineers & each time the engineers have said we have fixed this problem, but they never have or do fix it. This has been going on for 10 months now. This plus many other problem from pipex, just get you to the point of madness. Anyway what has been happening over the last 6 days has now got me to the point of shear madness, let me try to explain.
As I said the speed I have received from pipex has never been any where near what I am meant to receive. Now I know that the phone lines will only allow so much & so I accept this fact & know that I would only at best get about 6mg. But over the last 6 days I have gotten such bad speeds its unbelievable, I have up to now not even received dial up speed 56kbs. The last check I have done was 0.07, this I am sure anyone can understand & accept is totally out of order & unbelievable to say the least. I will when my contract runs out, change my ISP, but I will not change it yet as I will now pay pipex any extra money paying them for nothing, till the contract ends. They do not deserve any money at all never mind some for doing nothing at all, but that is what they do now.
When you call there customer services, they can not speak English well at all & you find it hard to understand what they are talking about. All they do is to read some kind of script & no matter what your problem is, they ignore what you say to them until they have gone through there script. That having take some time & you have to pay for the call, so pipex are getting paid twice from you, once for the service to your computer & the other getting there customer service personnel keeping you on the premium pay line for some time. I am surprised the this company have managed to get away with this for as long as they have. It is blatant theft, you would be better off giving someone from Africa your blank check card, it would cost you less.
Does anyone have any idea of what direction I can now go in to get help.
