I am constantly getting the message "speedtester has encountered a problem and needs to close" whenever I switch computer on.
Any suggestions please.

The standard reinstall should do the trick. Also make sure you have the .NET framework installed.

Thanks for the advice, but still no joy.

Hmm. It works on my Win XP machine using BT Homehub, but wanted to run some tests on the Win 2000 machine with different modem to establish if the problem is on the line.
