Hi I currently use a T Mobile USB Web and Walk and can agree with a lot of the comments made, it can be frustrating to log on only to discover the thing has disconnected ! or timed out ? However in general its not bad and saves me as a writer a lot of time re WiFi which isn't always reliable, or costly, and those who have broadband but fail to pay their bills ! I travel around so I can't have a fixed broadband connection thus this seems a good idea BUT as with everything technology wise we are YEARS behind when it comes to this kind of technology ! I quote one of my fav places if you're into getting a lesson re todays technology ! Seoul in S Korea ! you don't have CABLE connections or TELEPHONE cable connected broadband its all WIRELESS and similar 3G technologies but the bandwidth is to the level of TELEVISION on your mobile, PICTURE PHONE so you can see WHO's calling you and a whole lot more including of course instant dial up broadband, internet connection so fast it beggars belief ! As for the 3.6Mb conection it is to quote their fav saying UP TO and NOT IS 3.6Mb ! and as said totally reliant on WHERE YOU ARE ! I believe LONG TERM it has a future and will improve dramatically so to those who are thinking about it keep an eye on whats going on and watch this space so to speak ! The idea behind it is brilliant and lets face it cable and such should have gone out the window a long time ago ! Major cities and such should have had a MASSIVE WIRELESS infrastructure that could allow users to use their computers wherever they are at any time after establishing an account with them paying for the services they want and of course having the usual formalities to log onto the internet etc. ? but no we're still in the dark ages with a telephone system that is OK but lacks the bandwidth and the capabilities available in general !
At least we're better than the US. They think the iPhone is good even though a lot of standard features have been removed, $200 plus an expensive 2 year contract.
