This morning downloaded new version of BDM, all appeared Ok. However the system will not now shut down without the error saying BDM not responding so will halt at this message and has to be shut down manually, also on starting back up I get two error messages to say that the system is already running and this halts the start up proceedure.
I've done a system restore so now using version 1 BDM which starts up and shuts down OK, later I will download version 1.2 if the problem reappears then I will try to capture the error messages, but they look like ordinary windows messages to say the system is not responding and needs to be shut down, I have to use task manager to do this. On start up I just get two little blocks with a message to say the application is already running.
I am having the same problem having downloaded the new version. The system will not shut down automatically, it asks if you want to log off and when you do log off you get the standard error message saying the program is not responding and it is necessary to click end now. I had reinstalled the program a number of times and the result is always the same. I would go back to the original version, but it always opens with the message that the new version is available. Until this is resolved I think I would be better off not using BDM. Please help!
Mike, when Jimmy is free I'll get him to have a look at the problem to see if he can replicate and sort it for you. Until then, keep downloading the new one and see if that works
