So, as a result of Chancellor Darling’s new tax measures, all of us basic rate tax payers will be receiving an extra £60 in September’s pay packet!

But what to spend it on?

I have calculated that £60 could buy you:

6 Kung Fu Pandas
30 Bottles of Bucks Fizz
40 Ricky Martin CDs
48 Tins of SPAM
74 Euros (if you’re lucky!)
120 Spiderman Socks

Or… 315 Curly Wurlys!

Do you have any better ideas? On what will you be spending your mini windfall?

Why just spend all the money on only one of the above Hazel? 15 bottles of Bucks Fizz and 20 Ricky Martin CDs and you've got... well, the worst party ever quite frankly!
