I have used Tesco Broadband for many years, it works fine so long as you don't expect support. Recently their billing operation (Run by Virgin I believe) has become a joke. I have tried 3 times to set up a direct debit (Never had a problem setting one up before). They have sent me another users name and bank account details (Don't know where mine have been sent!) They have taken payment, and they show the payment in my online account, but they also show the bill as unpaid! You wait 30 minutes if you phone, then get to talk to a muppet.
Stick pins in your eyeballs, its more fun than dealing with Tesco
ofcom should be able to stop "muppet" companies from operating bband conections we need tighter legislation now only infomation services ie bband ,phone,andtv can openly charge for one sevice but provide something totally different! i allways thought super markets need regulation anyway as out of town supermarkets have destroyed our town centre now it seems they want your broad band money aswell if i bought a car with a 2ltr engine but it turned out to have a 1.2ltr engine would a car company lie to me, ignore me take the car back and then charge me for the privelidge or worst still blame me for not driving it properly! of course not that would be absurd so why do we tolerate this from these highwaymen?
